Now
there is a big silence
Silence covered by grief
Whether you did or didn't known her
It hurts very deep
|
|
|
|
She
will never walk around
Whoopi is gone
At shows she was the best
Proud owners to whom she belong
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
Now
we feel very vulnerable
Even we seem to be strong
The truth hurts
Truth and sadness came along
|
|
|
|
That
pain marks the day
That day turned black
In our heart Whoopi is still alive
Even though we know she will never come back

Dear
Diddy,
We are all very sad to hear about Miss Whoopi.. It is very sad
for you, but it is wonderful that you had the glory and pleasure
of owning such a great Bulldog and the memories she left you
and the Bulldog world will long be remembered. True greatness
is never forgotten and such was Miss Whoopi.
I am privileged to have known Miss Whoopi in the prime years
of her life and to have shared so many of her winnings. To me
she was the epitome of what a good Bulldog should be. Her endearing
personality and her exceptional Bulldog properties will not
always be remembered but always referred to as what a "good
one" should look like.
On my most recent trip to the recent Netherlands I was heartbroken
to see what failing health has done to Miss Whoopi, and you
did the right thing in making the decision you did and helped
her and accompanied her on her last journey and on to the rainbow
bridge, where one day we will all meet again.
It is an honour to own her daughter Little Diddy, and I have
no doubt that time will see the tradition of her mother Miss
Whoopi carried forward in the new generation.
Sincerely,
Julia van Rooyen.

In
memory''Miss Whoopi''
I
once remembered I wanted to buy a Bulldog puppy .
There was only one litter that had my interest. It was welped
by the best bitch i knew in the continent; ''Miss Whoopi''. Unfortunately
it did not work out.
It was not a surprise after I had seen "Miss Whoopi"
for the first time that this bitch was going to win a lot of CC`s.
The breeder of " Miss Whoopi" came once to our house
to show a young bitch they have just bought. A very sound brindle
bitch. I gave this bitch her first CC at the Amsterdam Winnershow.
Her daughter " Miss Whoopi " became the topwinning bitch
for a great number of years in Holland. Proudly owned and well
handled by Mrs. Diddy Iking.
" Miss Whoopi" was a marvellous bitch. Every true English
Bulldog fancier would have loved to own her. She was a standard
sized bitch with a lovely brick shaped head, with a nice feminine
expression. Super in front, shoulders and feet, with good brisket. The
right length of back with a good roach back and tail set. Nice
barrelled rib. Good angulation in hind quarters and a typical
mover. For sure she was one of the best bitches I have ever saw.
It is good to keep her in memory when ever I am judging as the
example of the standard of the English Bulldog.
